Jessica Moppin's JMOPOff Season Hitting Clinic

Off-season hitting is crucial to the development of young softball players who have aspirations to play at the next level. The winter months should be used to sharpen fundamentals and to break old habits developed from the long summer and fall seasons. Jessica Moppin is offering a six-week hitting course beginning Sunday, November 30. There will be no less than four and no more than six girls in each group, determined by age, for a one hour session. Teams are encouraged to sign up together. Times will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis with the first session beginning at 9:00am and the last starting at 1:00pm. Each week will focus on a different aspect of the swing and drills will be taught for the players to take home and use during the week. Educating the break down of the swing will prepare the players to make adjustments by themselves, making them smarter softball players.
